| Hi Polly, Hope you come here as frequently or infrequently as you like. It's good to hear you either way. I've mentioned the kensho thing in recent posts because of a concern that spiritual achievement can too easily translate into power within an organizational context. This, I'm sure is not limited to the OBC. Still, it is a concern that's best not left unsaid I think. | |

| Your quite right some people do try to use spiritual experiences to gain power but they have completely messed up. To quote a christian friend 'on the holy ground all are equal, saint and sinner, confused and enlightened. | |

| The first post in this thread that fahadintern posted as his own, is in fact Henry's post from Subject: Re: Introductions Mon Jan 31, 2011 9:44 pm (Polly's intro thread). I can't imagine what fahadintern was up to doing this. | |

Kudos to the eagle eye that caught the plagiarism! A pretty odd choice for post copying (sorry Henry) that makes little sense as a stand alone posting for being either educational or a "leg puller". Fahad can always explain what's up through the Urdu translation program and if not,...Well Polly, perhaps you've made a new friend that we on the shadier side of the tracks would satirically call a "Keeper" .

| Perhaps. I received no response to a private message so am puzzled but curious. If I've made a new friend in Muhammad Farhad Farid, well then, hi there Muhammad! Tell me more. Greetings to Pakistan and I wish you well. | |

| A thought -- maybe if the poster is just starting to learn English, she/he found it easier to copy & paste a paragraph that expressed what they wanted to say. Could be they're also new to forums and didn't realise it's not "done" to lift someone else's text without attribution. If one of us were really ambitious, we'd set about learning Urdu in order to reach out to Fahad and investigate. Let's see, there's probably someone here who has too much time on their hands and could use a constructive activity Any nominations? hehe | |
