We live in a physical world. This is not very PC but sometimes a moment of physicality can demonstrate compassion and honesty so much more clearly than many of the delusive manipulations that pass for communication today.

From what I saw, I'm guessing that humouring him by swearing on the Bible would not have given him pause for thought, but rather might be added to ones list of alleged offences. Does anyone know if any of those accused tried this, and what the upshot was?

I think Buzz did him a big favour. Presumably now (although one has to wonder about twits like Sibrel) he's less likely to wander into a Rangers pub in Glasgow and cheer for Celtic
