I had a troubled night sleep troubled by incense and Japan.
Whislt incense may linger its true nature is to permeate the universe
Even though there is no zendo on the cliff, you and your teacher will always be welcome, and I would do every thing possible to help

May we stand on that cliff together and watch the sky meet the sea.

My dear old teacher would expect us to spend hours without end in the zendo (whatever the structure may be), so we'd need to look carefully at that question ;-)

I'll see him next month for sesshin, and I ask if he'd visit England. He's in Europe leading sesshin each June, so an alternative would be to head there.

Regardless how arranged, a visit together before we need walking canes would certainly warm my heart.
