I attended the Wisdom 2.0 conference in San Francisco last week. Nice seeing lots of old friends, many meetings, some excellent talks and sessions. They have posted some of the videos on line:
I posted something about last year's conference. Clearly, the new secular mindfulness movement is growing larger and larger and is not a passing fad. Very few Zen folks were represented at the conference. Joan Halifax is the main Zen leader who always attends and speaks. I saw a few others who looked monk-like, but that was it. Zen seems to be on the periphery here.
