I made a post so I thought I better make an introduction. I'm in England. I like Throssel Hole, especially the waterfall there. I have never been deep into the OBC so I can't say much about it from the inside.

I get Dogen, but I think he is very boring. Give me Ryokan any day of the week.

After reading many posts here my overriding view is that North Cascades needs a kick in the butt and Shasta and Dharma Rain need a cuddle.

Re "skinheads with robes" I saw a movie once about aid workers in a far away land. The man and woman had a discussion early on saying if they ever started looking good to each other it was time to leave LOL

On a more serious note if the Abbey could reach the point of perceiving the true need to reconcile and embrace the Dharma Rain community the bells they would be ringing.
