| Hi Folks,
We hear from across the pond that today is "The Rapture" according to Mr.H. Camping, when all deserving Christians will be miraculously "translated" to Heaven at 6 pm (Grenwich mean time? Summer time? Eastern standard time? Pacific coast time? No, everyones 6pm!) The rest of us poor sinners will linger on through times of tribulation until the end of October when the world will cease.
Since the deadline has already come and gone in New Zealand and no one appears to have experienced "The Rapture" we must presume that New Zealond posesses no worthy Christians at all!
Seriously though,pity the poor folks who have rid themselves of all their posessions,given away their pets (souless creatures),donated all their assets to charity in order to prepare for the "uplift".What will they do if their prophet admits to having made another error of calculation as he did once before?
People who follow such a leader must be very desperate and completely unable to make sensible life choices and the leader must carry a heavy responsibility for the results of his deluded advice...with gassho, Lesley | |
