| Here are links to a couple of new videos. I took off my glasses and put on a hat (good), but I'm looking a little pasty (not so good) - whatever. I sure like these songs and I hope you enjoy my covers.
Leader of the Band

Longer

Tip...with youtube you always want to initially pause the video and wait a few minutes for it to download. That way it will play without stalling.

| Isan not to be out done, I will ask my daugter to put a link on of some messy music. I play in a band that is fluid to say the least different people, from ageing rock stars to beginners, we have raised alot of money playing bad rock and roll late at night when we should have been put to bed. Usually we play pubs for a fundraising event so I will get a shot of a Cornish pub for you. We have raised a lot of money .I was asked to raise money for our local surf life rescue club, we raised it and had a boat built in Australia, the racing team became world champions. I am thinking of hanging up my guitars,I have a Takamine, yamaha electro acustic, les Paul special, and a Paul Reed Smith handmade electric guitar. The surf club have just phoned to say they need another boat, it was 7 years since we got the other one, and they are winning everything, still champions, and membership has grown, so maybe I will hang them up later. They are a rare Cornish breed the club A judge made one of them join as part of his anger management programme,he became an individual world champion...wise judge eh. I can't do the links so I must be nice to daughter | |

| Dear Isan,
Thank you for the Dan Fogelberg. I love his music.
He once said in an interview that if he had been allowed to compose only one song during his lifetime, it would've been the Leader of the Band.
Thanks again, mokuan | |

| I'm glad folks are enjoying the music.
@ John - I used to play professionally, but now it's just for friends and family.
@ChisanMichaelHughes - by all means put up some music links, and don't hang up your guitars! I've got an old Fender Strat along with the Ibanez electrified acoustic. I really need to join a band again so I can justify accumulating more guitars.
@Mokuan - yeah, Dan Fogelberg is one of the special ones. There's a great performance of him doing Leader of the Band on Youtube and near the end his son adds a voice-over - brings things full circle.
@Jack - tips always appreciated, virtual or otherwise. | |

| Isan Cornwall is a great place for music,in some places you either surf or play guitar.Because of the type of place, very laid back, artists and musicans come down and stay or live. One of my neighbours was in a big rock band of the 80s and another was the master mixer at Abbey Road studios. another played the sax in Baker Street I think he was paid between 500and 1000$ for that. But the best story belongs to Mark Daiji, when he was asked to talk some sense into a young art student., you know get a proper job type talk. If you ask Mark nicely he may tell the rest, would not be right for me to | |
